My husband and I planned this trip with some friends coming in from St Louis. It was their first time in Vegas. I had never stayed at the MGM, but when we heard they had a non-smoking wing, we decided to try it. Theyroom was reallly cool, decor was modern and trendy. There is a TV screen in the bathroom mirror! Very clean, I think this wing has the newest rooms. We had very easy access to the strip from the west end of the property, didn't have to walk thru the casino if we chose not to. Our friends were very impressed with my find. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel for an entire week in August 2010. The hotel was everything that we expected and more. The rooms were exactly as described, spacious and clean. They just need to change the brand of their toliet paper (it was too hard). :-) The staff was very nice and courteous throughout our entire stay. We had an excellent view of the strip and the hallway was not noisy at all. Our room was cleaned daily; the bed was made each day and fresh, clean towels were received daily. We visited other hotels along the strip and if the MGM hotel was not available, I would have stayed at Caesars Palace or at the Bellagio. This hotel has 6 pools that are very spacious; the ventilation is excellent...you can't even tell that people are smoking in the casino. Regardless what time of day or night that you go down to the casino..you can always find a slot machine or a gaming table to play on. They had so many in this casino. Just be prepared for lots of people walking the strip.

08/14/2010It's got to be the best place on the strip. the casino was pretty much crowded w/people all the time. the pool experience is awesome! plenty of opportunity ...
It's got to be the best place on the Strip. The Casino was pretty much crowded w/people all the time. The pool experience is awesome! Plenty of opportunity to find shade and the river pool was exciting. Good food and food court was an economical way to go.
